Tlingit & Haida WA Chapter Back to School Giveaway!
We are happy to announce that we will have a backpack & supplies distribution this year! After the ARPA federal funding cuts resulted in the cancellation of Tlingit & Haida’s Backpack Program for students outside of Southeast Alaska, our community was left with uncertainty and concern.
We have successfully partnered with Running Strong for American Indian Youth to provide backpacks filled with school supplies to our Washington-based Tlingit & Haida youth. Supplies are very limited, so register your youth as soon as possible!
When: Sunday, August 10th, 2025, from 11 AM to 3 PM.
Where: Tlingit & Haida Lynnwood Office.
