Announcing our newly elected 2025-2026 Youth Ambassador, Jasmine Knudson!

Jasmine is L’eeneidí (Raven Dog Salmon), a child of the Wooshkeetaan, and a grandchild of the Chookaneidí. Please help us in welcoming her into this new role!
“In my quest to promote Indigenous visibility and perspectives, I am also a contestant for the Miss Indian Northwest pageant. My interest and passion for leadership, cultural activism, and empowering Native youth has been further sparked by this experience. I want to use this platform to encourage people to be proud of who they are, seek out chances for personal development, and strengthen our communities. As a Youth Ambassador, my ultimate goal is to encourage pride, resiliency, and solidarity among our people. I want to commemorate our ancestors’ past while fostering a prosperous future for our community by fusing traditional wisdom with modern opportunities.”
Congratulations Jasmine, we can’t wait to work alongside you this next year and look forward to seeing what you bring to the table as a Youth voice. I toó yei yatee!
